DVS Hosting a division of DVS Computers Ltd was formed in early 2000 to host the databases used by the Banking and Insurance industry to underwrite the access to justice initiative promoted by the Government. In 2003, we moved into our newly constructed dedicated hosting suite with climate control and power backup systems.
Having dealt only with corporate customers DVS Hosting is now from our humble beginnings able to offer focused flexible and reliable Hosting solutions from personal sites to Corporate Dedicated servers and can now offer Shared Hosting, Virtual Private Servers, Dedicated Servers and Co Location within our modern Cardiff Facility.

We always put the customer first, and because of this we have found that our customer base has grown substantially over the years. In 2003 we had to move premises to our custom build Data centre to enable us to upsize our hosting services. Our new premises are secure, efficiently designed, scaleable, and provide easy access for our customers.

Each centre is staffed 24 x 7 with highly trained, experienced support engineers. Support engineers are required to go through annual code of conduct reviews. Our hosting facility follows a well-defined security policy. This policy is regularly audited and modified, as needed, in order to maintain the highest standards.

DVS buy bandwidth directly from two Tier 1 backbone providers. Through our backbone providers we are able to meet virtually any bandwidth capacity requirements thus offering unlimited scalability for our customers systems.
The DVS network architecture takes full advantage of mutli-layered router and switch configurations to ensure efficient network data communications. Our network is designed such that if our primary tier 1 backbone connection goes down then our redundant 3rd party connection is immediately activated. This ensures our customers receive no data loss and continuous connectivity.
5. Physical Security
Our facilities are monitored 24 x 7 by our security. Only authorised personnel are granted access to our hosting premises. The server room has one entrance which is protected by a security recognition systems which ensures only authorised system administrators are permitted access.
All visitors are required to pass through multiple levels of security and are required to be escorted at all times. Sensitive security areas within the centres are protected by motion sensors and security breach alarms. Video cameras installed throughout the centres are continuously monitored by security personnel.
6. Network Security
All of our systems are designed to maintain a quality of service throughout the network by prioritising packets to maintain an order of precedence of services. Each network device is equipped to filter out DoS attacks. We also offer intelligent, multilayer access control that can be utilised to protect the network from the impact of attacks while reducing the risk of inadvertently discarding legitimate traffic.
7. Service Level Agreements
DVS guarantees its services with industry leading SLA's. Areas of coverage include but are not limited to: network uptime and access speed, specific response and escalation procedures and the replacement and/or maintenance of hardware and software. Standard SLA guarantees include a minimum 99% network uptime and timely hardware replacement guarantees.
